Class Schedule

 

Most cooking classes start at 6:30 unless noted. Reservations and prepayment required. Call 910-725-1345 to verify availability. All classes are hands on participation in preparation of menu items.

In addition to the scheduled classes we also offer private evenings with menu options available for parties of eight. Scheduled classes with 8 slots available are subject to menu changes. 24 hour notice required for cancellation to reschedule or receive a refund.

We've got great classes for date night, family night, friends night out, team building exercises, kids cooking classes and birthday parties along with bridal showers.

Thursday, August 31st - $45 Sweet Potato Gnocchi: This hands-on class takes the mystery away from the art of making Italian style potato pasta. It’s made with a brown butter balsamic sauce with a side of seasonal asparagus. Vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options are available.
Friday, September 1st -  $50 Salvadorian Cuisine: Join us as we learn how to make the Salvadorian treat, the papusa. Students will also learn how to make the traditional accompaniments; curtido (cabbage slaw), and salsa roja. Students will individually form and create this Salvadorian style corn flour pastry. (vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available)
Saturday, September 2nd 10am $35 - Brunch at The Flavor Exchange - Students will learn to make a variety of breakfast delights, from eggs Benedict to French toast (vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available.)
Saturday, August 3rd - 6:30pm $50 - Hands on Sushi Making: This sushi class will take the intimidation out of this Japanese delight. Participants will learn how to prepare sushi rice without using the traditional sugar and salt ingredients. Students will choose from a variety of ingredients to create their own unique sushi rolls. Vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options are available

Wednesday, September 6th - 6:30pm - Hand Rolled Pasta: Students will get the chance to learn about the traditional methods of making hand rolled pasta. After learning about and forming two different types of dough, each student will learn how to form cavatelli, strozzapretti, and trofie, three different classic style shapes of pasta. Once our pasta is formed, we will learn how to make a creamy mascarpone pistachio pesto, as well as the Italian cacio e pepe sauce.

Friday, September 8th - Hands on Lebanese Cuisine:  Come and learn how to make the fresh and healthy foods of Lebanon. The class will start by making and forming the traditional quick-bread naan. After forming your own flatbreads, each student will learn how to make fresh chickpea hummus and baba ganoush from scratch as well as turmeric pickled cauliflower (vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available).

Friday, September 15th - 6:30pm $50 - Hands on Southern Roots: In this class, students will learn how to make the classic Southern meal- fried chicken and biscuits. Each student will assist in rolling out and cutting their own biscuits as we learn the process of making the most delicious fried chicken. Then we will learn to prepare tasty sides such as smoked ham hock collard greens and homemade buttermilk ranch.

Thursday, September 21st - 6:30pm $50 - Hands on Thai: In this class, we will prepare a delicious chicken appetizer with a homemade peanut sauce. Then, we will dive into the preparation of our Thai coconut curry dish filled with chicken, veggies and organic spices. We will focus on chopping techniques, proper blending and the order of cooking the ingredients. Vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options are available.

Saturday, September 23rd - 10am $35 - Mark your calendars for a brunch cooking class! Learn how to make one of our most popular items, FitParfaits! Yes, the secret is out! You'll learn the step by step process of making every layer and build your own parfait. It will be fun, educational, and most importantly delicious! 
Saturday, September 23rd - 6:30pm $50 - Hands on Ravioli Class: Starting with a basic pasta dough recipe, each student will learn how to make their own ravioli with a creamy ricotta cheese filling (vegetarian and vegan options available).

Thursday, October 20th - 6:30pm $45 Hands on Pickling and Charcuterie class. In this class we will learn how to make home made pickles as well as accouterments for your own charcuterie board. Then we will learn how to artfully present and set up a charcuterie board for your next home dinner party!
